Armanino McKenna Acquires Microsoft Dynamics Consultancy 1 Source Solutions, Grows US West Coast Presence

Armanino McKenna LLP announced today that it has
acquired 1 Source Solutions,
also known as Fullscope West, to grow its US west coast presence as a Microsoft
Dynamics VAR for GP, CRM, and AX.  The 1
Source staff of 28 employees will join the firm and 2 former 1 Source
executives, Bruce Kirschenbaum and Chris Moore, have been named as new partners
within the Consulting department of Armanino McKenna. 

The
transaction includes acquisition of 1 Source’s software modules that work in
conjunction with MS Dynamics AX including manufacturing, distribution, revenue

Olive-3 Technologies Announce On-Demand Editions of Manufacturing Management Solutions

Microsoft Dynamics Partner News Roundup: Zap’s First Swedish Client; Altus HR Suite Deployments Increase; New ASi R&D Hire

Swedish-based global organization, Lagerstedt &
Krantz Group
, has chosen Zap’s business intelligence software to help manage
its 16 international companies.

According to officials, LK Group, which uses
Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its standard Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
system, becomes Zap’s first Swedish client, as the software company expands in
Europe.

LK Group said it will use Zap’s Business Analytics
for Microsoft Dynamics NAV to better communicate performance to its board, a
well as analyze production and sales in the heating, plumbing, shipping, real
estate management and finance industries.

Microsoft Dynamics AX Cited as an Order Management Hub Solutions Leader by Research Firm

Forrester Research Inc. has
recognized Microsoft Dynamics AX a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Order Management
Hubs for August 2010.

According
to the report, Microsoft has reached Leader designation for the first time
based mainly on the strength of its strategy, including a top three product and
go-to-market strategy as well as market-leading ownership costs.

To
participate in the Forrester Wave, vendors had to meet specific requirements,
including an ability to provide support for market-leading industries, to
demonstrate a broad business process footprint and to target organizations with
500 or more employees.

that time again. Nigel Frank International, a specialist global
Microsoft Dynamics recruitment agency, is conducting its annual survey of
Microsoft Dynamics professionals’ salaries and is asking for input to paint the
most accurate picture of the current salary trends.

Microsoft Dynamics AX Sustained Engineering Team recently announced
the compatibility of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 with Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack
1.

products. Recently I had the opportunity to take Microsoft’s implementation
exam for Dynamics and in the process, I learned that many customers and even
