Recently, I was involved in RTM Upgrade of DAX 2009 from a Pre-Release (i.e. CTP 3 version). As part of the upgrade checklist, we have to detect upgrade conflicts and a project would be created for objects which are having conflicts.

Now, the conflicts and resolving the conflicts has been made more simpler in AX 2009. When we open the Upgrade project, we get a red arrow sort of symbol tagged left to the object which indicates that it has code conflicts

And, we can resolve the same by using the Mark as Resolved option shown below:

Benefits:

Saves time as we Need not taverse through all the objects in the Compare window.
