Dynamics AX University
Hey all – once again sorry about the lack of updates. I have been attending 2 three week classes over in DC.
The Dynamics AX University classes have gone really well. I have attended the 4.0 Financials and the 4.0 Trade & Logistics classes. Actually, finishing the second one this week. After this I will be on project work (consulting services), but will be able to hold a much more normal schedule – and of course that will mean more posting for everyone!
A cheap web hosting is a great deal if you get the domain names of your choice as well as the web design template. One reliable hosting is that of anhosting.
A company called HSO has been putting on the training and they have done an excellent job. I will have links available for everyone as soon as I track those down again.

hi jake! how was the axapta training? i would like to know if a partner sponsored you for this training or is this a personal expense? i am also interested in taking an axapta training and i am carefully looking for a training institution that gives axapta training. can you recommend any? how much was the training that you took? thanks.
Hi Anna – the training went great.
Yes, the partner I work for sent me to the training, so picked up the tab. As far as I know, this is the only institution offering training like this – so investigating the links to the courses would certainly be worth your time.
The courses can be a bit intense if you are totally new to AX, but by no means impossible. As far as the cost goes, I think the current per class price is $5775, assuming you are attending all 3 weeks. The first week is optional if you have had a lot of experience in the product or have attended a different tracks bootcamp.
I hope that helps answer your questions!
(I would have replied via email, but the address you registered with bounces, so was unable to.)

thanks jake! $5775 is quite a cost. i no longer work for a partner, so personally shouldering this cost is very heavy for me. going through the site, i discovered that this training is for consultants of microsoft partners only. anyway, my search continues
thanks again.
